Windows Enterprise LTSC is not going to give you better App or Gaming performance, over Home and Pro Editions of Windows. The Editions are all the same at the core, which is why they all use the exact same Update Packages. The main difference, is out of the box LTSC does not include Cortana, UWP Apps, or the Microsoft Store, which is preferred by some. It includes the same Framework, and Services, as Pro and Home Editions, which is why you can Add the Store and Xbox after installation, if desired.

– Compared to my Customized Pro or Home Editions, you will not see any tangible difference in resource use, or performance.

The most notable difference, is LTSC’s Lifecycle Support from Microsoft, which is a great benefit to users who want to stick to the same version of Windows for a long period of time. Home and Pro Editions typically have an 18 month Life Cycle, Enterprise extends that to 30 months, but the current LTSC 21H2 version will receive Updates for 5 years. – For most users, it won’t matter, because they will prefer to upgrade to a newer version of Windows to get the Latest Features and Support, but for some, this is LTSC’s biggest advantage.

This build will feel and perform the same as my Home Plus or Pro Plus Builds, minus the UWP Apps and Store.

Highly recommend you download and install DX9 and VC++ Runtimes found HERE!

Recommend you enable a paging file, (Virtual Memory), if you have a low amount of physical RAM installed in your PC. Read my tutorial on how to enable it HERE! It’ll save your apps from crashing / closing unexpectedly if you run short on physical RAM.
